This division of Train Trax Music Supervision came to life when friends would go to Julia in the middle of a party and ask her to play DJ with their CD collection. After all, every party needs the right music to make it click. Of course, they should have thought about that before the party started, right? Most people have a passion for music, but not the time or energy to put together a playlist of music to carry a party from the beginning to end. And that's where she comes in.
What It Is
My Music Concierge is a personal music service provided to anyone hosting a party or event. She has over 3,000 CDs in her library, unlimited access to iTunes and weekly service from major & indie record labels, so is as as hooked into music, past and present, as you can get. She will customize a playlist for you based on type event, theme, party guests' lifestyle and demographics and any special needs. Not sure about what kind of music to play? Spend time with Julia and she'll get to know you and your tastes, and will be able to recommend something to fit the bill.
How It Works
Julia will meet with the clients to determine their exact music needs, including length and number of playlists. If you need specific songs included, not a problem! She then pre-loads an iPod with the playlist and delivers it to you, along with an RCA-to-iPod connecting cable, easily patching the iPod to most home sounds systems. Playlist preparation requires at one week in advance of the event, although rush jobs can be done at an extra fee.
